It All Started With A Promise...

"Lisa, I love you.  Please go be with God.  I promise I will raise the boys
the way you want me to.  And I promise to do everything
I can to prevent this from happening to others."

On March 19, 2015, Todd Crawford received the phone call that would change his life forever.  His wife, Lisa Colagrossi, a beautiful, loving wife and mother of two young boys, and very well-known television journalist for ABC News, had experienced a brain aneurysm rupture while on assignment in New York City.  She had been rushed to a local hospital.  Upon arriving at the hospital, he was rushed to a room where he saw Lisa laying in the bed on life support.  Todd knew she had been through too much and would not make it.  The next morning, everyone made their way to the hospital to say their goodbyes.  Todd went first and entered Lisa's room alone.  He grabbed her hand, bent over and kissed her forehead.  He leaned to her ear and said, "Lisa, I love you.  Please go be with God.  I promise I will raise the boys the way you want me to.  And I promise to do everything I can to prevent this from happening to others."

What started from the unconditional love Todd felt for Lisa and their two boys has quickly grown to one of the most respected and credible non-profit organizations around. The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation has emerged as the leader awareness and education for brain aneurysms in the United States.  Just three months after launching, the foundation was credited with saving the life of a brain aneurysm survivor, and has been since credited with saving many more lives of around the world. However, we've just barely scratched the surface… and we won't stop until our mission is fulfilled.
