Our Story

It All Started With A Promise...

On March 19, 2015, Todd Crawford received the phone call that would change his life forever.  His wife, Lisa Colagrossi, a beautiful, loving wife and mother of two young boys and very well-known television journalist for ABC News had experienced a Brain Aneurysm rupture while on assignment and was rushed to a New York City hospital.  Upon arriving at the hospital and seeing Lisa for the very first time, as she laid in her bed on life support, he made her the promise that he would do everything in his power to learn as much as possible about the condition that had taken her life and spend the rest of his life trying to spare other families from losing a loved one to the same thing.

What started out from the unconditional love he felt for Lisa and their two boys has quickly grown into one of the most respected and credible non-profit organizations around, and emerged as the leader in raising awareness and education for Brain Aneurysms in the United States.  Just three months after lauching the foundation, TLCF was credited with saving the life of its first survivor and has been credited with saving the lives of several others around the world since.  We've just barely scratched the surface.... and we won't stop until our mission is fulfilled.
